Hey everybody and welcome back to another episode of Unapologetically Us. I am Jen.
SPEAKER_02And I'm David.
SPEAKER_00Hi David.
SPEAKER_02I what are you staring at?
SPEAKER_00She's been on one this week.
SPEAKER_02Yeah? No, that's not an invite. There you go. Good job. So I think I brought this up before. But it's now happened like three other times, and it's starting to really aggravate me for no reason.
SPEAKER_00I mean it it Well anything aggravates you.
SPEAKER_02It doesn't cause any harm.
SPEAKER_00I mean You were spotted in the wild.
SPEAKER_02No.
SPEAKER_00So we haven't heard one of those stories.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I haven't. I haven't, I don't think. If so, they've kept to themselves. Anyway. Um so you know, you go anywhere. It doesn't matter where you go. Grocery store, drive-through, any place where there is an employee. Like, I mean, I've walked in a clothing store. Complete silence. Like, why do employees think that they don't need to talk to you? No hello, no thank you, no, can I help you? No anything. Nothing. You walk in, they look up, and they look back down. Silence.
SPEAKER_00Do you say hello to them first?
SPEAKER_02Yeah. Hi. Back to the phone. Drive-through? Obviously, when you're at the speaker they talk.
SPEAKER_00Right.
SPEAKER_02But then by the time you get to the window, obviously it's a different person. But all they're doing is just handing it out. No, thank you. How are you? Like it's a new interaction, a new person. Can't be bothered.
SPEAKER_00Well, what if they had somebody come through that was mean to them?
SPEAKER_02I wasn't.
SPEAKER_00I understand that, but like it could set the tone for the rest of the day.
SPEAKER_02No. Like, or going in the grocery store, when I go through your your checkout line, you're gonna talk to the bagger about I can't wait till my break. I don't give a fuck about that.
SPEAKER_00We did that exact same thing as my lazy.
SPEAKER_02And what would happen every time that they did it, you didn't get a break until later. If I heard it. You I didn't give breaks. If you ask me about a break, you went to the bottom of the list. Like, because they did it in front of customers. Like, that's not the place. That's not the time or the place. But my point is that they just don't talk to you.
SPEAKER_00Well, that's that that's the generation.
SPEAKER_02That's okay, so that's gonna be the leader of our country soon.
SPEAKER_00Exactly.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, yeah. So we're fucked.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Hope I'm dead. Like, I just it it infuriates me so bad. And I don't know why it does, because I mean it doesn't make a difference.
SPEAKER_00I'm in and out, you know, whatever, but it's I mean, does that does that ruin ruin you start down? Does that ruin your day?
SPEAKER_02It doesn't ruin my day, but I know common decency. I mean, I use courtesy, you mean? Both. Either. I mean, I don't always abide by it, you know. But but if I if I see somebody, I'm going to acknowledge them verbally.
SPEAKER_00The acknowledgement and the social cues of saying hello and you know, welcome in or what can I help you with?
SPEAKER_02You know, not somebody that I don't know. I I don't know. I just it I just don't understand. Like who failed is what I want to understand, I guess.
SPEAKER_00Our our generation.
SPEAKER_02Who failed? Uh the parents?
SPEAKER_00Yes.
SPEAKER_02Or the the schools?
SPEAKER_00I wouldn't say no, not the schools because this here's the thing. So and mind you, neither one of us have kids.
SPEAKER_02We're just looking, we're not we're well, I guess we might be judging, but yeah, anyway.
SPEAKER_00Some parent, probably in this whole deal of a classier parent, shall I say, because what makes class, right? Allow their kid to either A, get an iPad, B, a PS5, or whatever. Something like that. And that's what they do all day. There is no going outside anymore and being out till the streetlights come on. Like you and I were terrorists of our neighborhood um riding our bikes all the time. Like we would do something or jumping on the trampoline or coming to my pool and swimming. Like we would always do something. But at some point there was a breakdown of They just couldn't do it in the world. When you say that, I think it went from like giving the child an iPad and working on ABCs or numbers and colors and that kind of stuff.
SPEAKER_02And then that evolved.
SPEAKER_00And it evolved into other things. So as they got older, then they're like, hey, can I have some money to buy this game? And then it went into the games, and then it went into this. And so everyone is so hyper-focused on technology. Like, and I'm a part of it too, because and so you're definitely a part of it. Now, like, even you get mad at me when you're like, Why didn't you Google it? Well, that's just not how I was brought into things. Hello, we talked about encyclopedias for right.
SPEAKER_02I know we did. I know that. But I'm just, and I'm not talking about it's the social cues.
SPEAKER_00When you're playing a gamer in this all day long, you're not talking to anybody unless you are gaming or whatever.
SPEAKER_02But here's the other thing though, that I And I would reiterate this, we do not have children. Yeah, definitely not, and don't like them either. So um, but I it does. It scares a lot of people right now because this is what Yeah, but I so yeah, okay, they've learned that behavior at home. But at what point is, as an employer, are you not gonna be able to do that?
SPEAKER_00How are you gonna tell somebody that you can't have a job here?
SPEAKER_02It's at this point. You need to speak to every customer. But you need to do this, but you need to do this, and you document it and then they're fired. We are on no fault state. It doesn't matter.
SPEAKER_00Okay, so then you get to a point to where you go through an entire generation of people, then close the fucking doors and say, guess what?
SPEAKER_02We're closed because there is not a person on this planet that can fucking function. Like as a human being. Exactly. People are too fucking scared these days. I guess.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, because I mean, in our state, I think that you have to have a pretty solid case of any type of employer, whatever, to even win because of the no fault.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, but I don't think there's an attorney that's gonna really take a bunch of that on. Yeah, well, because we're a no-fault state.
SPEAKER_00But point is but the point is that this is what has happened. This is now what we're dealing with with the 16 to 25 age era. That's um absolutely it's also another reason why we have such a culture of you know, uh a lot of things. No one knows how to uh talk about things, conversations can never be had.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I've noticed that too.
SPEAKER_00You know, it's like they they just shut down. It's like, oh well, you know, whatever. Like this is this is how I I deal.
SPEAKER_02Just know if that's you, you drive me the fucking most craziest ever.
SPEAKER_00And make sure you say hello to David when he walks in.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. It's all that I need is uh just a little bit.
SPEAKER_00So okay, well here, are if you walk in, are you making eye contact with these people? And you say hello.
SPEAKER_02I even said hello.
SPEAKER_00Right.
SPEAKER_02And they just act like they see straight through you. Like, are you fucking kidding me? I was in the outlet mall.
SPEAKER_00I was gonna say, can you give me an example of this?
SPEAKER_02We walked into a store in the outlet mall. I said hello, Carrie says hello, we look around and we're like, I mean, very quickly, we realized it was not something that we were gonna find clothes that, I mean, we would find clothes that fit, but we were not gonna find anything that was like something that we would wear. Right. So we were like, okay, let's just go. But it was a split-second decision because there was no, I mean, they were just leaning against the cash wrap.
SPEAKER_00Oh.
SPEAKER_02And there was at least 15 people in that store. And I'm like, let's just go. Like, get the fuck out of here. Because clearly nobody can be bothered. What if I needed a size? For God's sake.
SPEAKER_00Well, I think they would have this is what you would have done. You would have walked and been like, hi, can I get this in a size?
SPEAKER_02Or you want to direct me to your back room? I'll be happy to find it myself.
SPEAKER_00Well, hold on. It would have been hi, can I get a size in the size or whatever? And they would get it, make eye contact with you, and then just walk off. There would be no conversation. There would be no conversation. No interaction, no conversation.
SPEAKER_02No, would they have brought me the item? Probably if they had it.
SPEAKER_00Right.
SPEAKER_02But I'm just like, what the fuck?
SPEAKER_00But what else can help break the cycle is proper training.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Um, and a manager. But they're probably being trained by the same damn generation, so there's a few, you know, you know, it's not every single one of them.
SPEAKER_02It's not. It's not. There are some that are that age that don't have a problem talking.
SPEAKER_00Right.
SPEAKER_02But nine times out of ten, they're not.
SPEAKER_00Well, and like I said, it's it's gotta come down through a management style as well. To be like, hey, you need to greet the customer. You need to, you know.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. There's a lot of places that have shitty ass employees right now, then. Just saying. Absolutely.
SPEAKER_00And shitty management.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. Because when they don't speak, and I'm in a drive-thru, I snatch the bag out of their hand. Pisses me off. It does.
SPEAKER_00Thank you! Have a nice day!
SPEAKER_02Oh wow, if they don't speak, I don't speak now. I just snatch it. And if I can, I'll peel my wheels.
SPEAKER_00Oh, you perp you you mentally. You mentally think about that.
SPEAKER_02Mm-hmm. Sometimes.
SPEAKER_00Oh man.
SPEAKER_02Not every time. Every now and again.
SPEAKER_00So I do um I had a person approach me um the other day. Did you talk back? Huh?
SPEAKER_02Did you talk back?
SPEAKER_00I did. Congrats. I had a person approach me the other day that feels your same exact way about the Airbnb situation.
SPEAKER_02Oh, yes. Because in October, I'm going to Tampa and they're No, that's for the High Rocks, they think. Yeah, so we're not getting tickets, so we're just going.
SPEAKER_00Okay.
SPEAKER_02Um participating. No, not watch. We're yes. But we wanted to do it as a four-man team. Um and they've added another day to the race, but they're only selling singles and doubles. So um, and they're we were gonna do it, um, two girls, two guys. So I guess me and the guy, me and Derek can do it together, and then Carrie and Brenda could do it together, but that's not what we wanted to do. And then if a guy and a girl do it together, then the girl has to carry all the men's size, all the men's weights like throughout the entire race.
SPEAKER_00So um I think we should just watch it for a minute.
SPEAKER_02We're gonna, yeah, that's what we're gonna do. Um, but there is an Airbnb situation that somebody has booked. Um I'm not staying in it. Um, like we talked about it last night. I'm like, mm-hmm, nope. I'll be at a hotel. I was like, what if I need blankets or a uh what if I need something? Who do I call? Who the fuck do I call?
SPEAKER_00Like you know that there are closets everywhere.
SPEAKER_02I understand that, but like I'm not going to search for them. I need somebody to bring it to me. Like, that's what I'm paying for. Nice asshole. Um, you know, like I I just I yeah. I need it that day, not the next day. Like, oh, we'll we'll bring it over. We'll what if it's not there? What what you know, what if there's not closets with shit everywhere? What do you do then?
SPEAKER_00So her her biggest thing was um when she's on vacation, she doesn't like to cook at all. You know? Okay. So she's like, the kitchen is absolutely just off limits. So there's like really no She was like, there was no purpose for buttons.
SPEAKER_02Okay, I could see that slightly different than me. Clean.
SPEAKER_00Somebody else's stuff.
SPEAKER_02Right. That's the I mean I mean after that, and and damn. I didn't save it, I'm not going back to it, but you know, it's like the video. I mean, how do we know that somebody's not sitting there with a fork scratching their foot?
SPEAKER_01Oh man!
SPEAKER_02And now you're you're going to. I'm not gonna go find that video, but there is everyone knows about it.
SPEAKER_00It's gone viral. It's the Carnival Cruise Line video where the lady obviously has something wrong with the bottom of her foot.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, and she's like scraping it with a fork.
SPEAKER_00It starts with her finger and then takes a silverware, like it was a fork. Fork, and just starts like raking her raking her foot.
SPEAKER_02And I'm talking like And I look, I've had an itch that bad before. It's woken me up out of my sleep, and I'm like, but it's not down here, it's always up here. So I'm just like like I can't scratch it enough. No, exactly. There is an underlying problem for this.
SPEAKER_00So anyway, somebody else um videoed this lady like going to town on the bottom of her foot.
SPEAKER_02Um and we sent it to the group that we're about to go on a trip with. Um, yeah. One person immediately bought their own silverware to bring, which I wonder if that will even get through security. I I don't know. Well, um, I guess we'll find out. Put it put it in the checked luggage.
SPEAKER_00But uh, but yeah, so anyway, big thing with Carnival, they went and said that they took the the the utensil out of service, so you might as well have just thrown it off the ship.
SPEAKER_02But okay, so they say that. Did somebody watch did I an employee would have had to have watched that?
SPEAKER_00There is no way that I think somebody probably went to go get somebody at that point.
SPEAKER_02Because they put a they put out a statement, but I'm like, if you watched the video, if you didn't know about this until you watched the video, where the fuck, how are you gonna find it?
SPEAKER_00So uh I showed it to my mom and she was like, oh. She's like, I thought, because they'd already heard about it through their crew, their crew's Facebook groups or whatever, and um saw the statement come out, and I said, I asked her, I said, have you watched the video? And she was like, No, and I was like, Do you want to watch it? And she was like, not really. And I'm like, oh well. So I showed her the part one and part two, and I said, you know, we've been talking about this, and she goes, Oh my god. She's like, first of all, I thought it would have been somebody way older, like not in the correct headspace. Oh yeah. Like maybe like, you know, an older lady, dementia.
SPEAKER_02I mean, but this was an adult though, right? I don't remember.
SPEAKER_00They're younger than us, but they're older. Oh, they were? Um yes, and I believe that they were from a different country.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I think so too.
SPEAKER_00But still, I'm like, oh yeah. Where did this okay? So this went to, all right. So you think, okay, okay, because Chris said the same thing. He's like, oh, I'd probably be the one to get the cleaned fork afterwards.
SPEAKER_02Bitch, I'll eat something off the fork, so it doesn't matter.
SPEAKER_00It's like, okay, so what what how do you make something clean if you don't take it out of rotation or whatever? It's like, what would make the situation better besides removing it?
SPEAKER_02Right. I mean, that's the only thing they they can do, and hopefully they did it, but I mean, I've seen you've seen, I mean, in your work, you've been in kitchens, but you see what those dishwashers look like. I mean, they don't really do shit.
SPEAKER_00Oh no, these are like high-powered machines.
SPEAKER_02No, I know that, but have you seen the food scraps that still go through those? Yeah, that's like that's that's what I don't like. Right!
SPEAKER_00So, and we still eat off of the silver Exactly.
SPEAKER_02Exactly. So, I mean it it yes, it's gross, but I'm not gonna number one, I'm not buying my own silverware. I'm not bringing my own silverware.
SPEAKER_00There they're there you go again, because you're like, I don't want to do this in an Airbnb because I don't know who's whatever.
SPEAKER_02That is got nothing to do with the clean cleanliness of the of the stuff. It's just not my stuff. Like I don't know. Like, are are it like I mean I yeah, it's just weird.
SPEAKER_00Okay.
SPEAKER_02Like, I mean, I've stayed in several Airbnbs, not not many, many, but I've stayed in quite a few, and I've never I've had to wear shoes in every single one of them. Like the entire time because my feet turn black. And I mean, honestly, that's enough.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_02That's enough. And just gross. They're they're filthy. They're not they're not good. They're you you pay a fucking big ass fee for somebody to come and clean it, and that's what they clean. Right. Like, get the hell out of here. I'll go stay at a hotel that has carpet that I can't tell if it's clean or dirty. And there's a desk I can call in the middle of the night if I need a pillow. And honestly, the desk is the make it or break it for me.
SPEAKER_00The desk.
SPEAKER_02Yep. I need to be able to reach somebody. That's on shift, not an owner of a house that's passed the fuck out or on vacation somewhere. Like yeah.
SPEAKER_00Okay. Um I want to know why it might not it might not even be you, because it's more than likely Alyssa. The picking up the phone of somebody and taking random pictures.
SPEAKER_02Oh, it's definitely not me.
SPEAKER_00But you're in them all.
SPEAKER_02Oh, well, I thought it was her phone.
SPEAKER_00No! How the fuck? You cannot go to the bathroom in this group and leave and leave your shit on the table, mind you, because I don't want to take my phone into the poopy stall and get like Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.
SPEAKER_02Time out. Even she's like, get the fuck out of here. When you're in this house and you have to shit.
SPEAKER_00I take I know what my Okay, it just goes back to the. What the fuck is the difference? It's my poop!
SPEAKER_02It's still your poop if you're shitting in a public restroom. But otherwise, you take you take it, you take it into the bathroom on the cruise. Those are public.
SPEAKER_00I don't know. If I have the option of leaving my stuff with somebody that with the friends that you have, there's not an option.
SPEAKER_02So figure it out. But no, I've never known that that was um not her phone. She's like, let's take a picture. I'm like, okay. I'm like, I'm not inspecting the case and like, wait, whose phone is that? Bitch, just take a picture.
SPEAKER_00Like I have stuff from Christmas when we were in St. Augustine. I have stuff from the World Cup when you guys were there. I'm just like, my God. No phone is safe.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, there is no safe phone.
SPEAKER_00Is there a way that you can lock that down?
SPEAKER_02I don't think so. And and and it all, just so you know, it's all Apple's fault. Because you can just get to the camera right here. You can't look at the pip the pictures, but you can take all of them that you want.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_02So it's Apple's fault.
SPEAKER_00Like I'll go through.
SPEAKER_02I'll be honest, I don't even look.
SPEAKER_00You probably have a thousand pictures that you have no clue what it is. And it's probably Alyssa making her thing look like a butt.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. And just or cleavage or whatever the frick it's supposed to be. But yeah. So, um, but yeah, I well, and then if I take pictures for people at like an event or something, I always leave a selfie before I hand them their phone back. So we did that one event. Um the dreams come true thing. I don't know what that was. Um anyway, anyway.
SPEAKER_00Is that the squirrel that's living in my roof?
SPEAKER_02Maybe. And so I had to borrow somebody's phone because all of our phones were dying. And we wanted to record something, and so we did, and quality wasn't good. I didn't the phone I the phone I borrowed was like an iPhone 5. No, it was a newer one, but it It was the base, base, base. Like I couldn't. I mean, your next step was not even.
SPEAKER_00Hello?
SPEAKER_02The next step was not even um probably an iPhone. Like if you go down one more step, you've left, you've left Apple. So um flip phone. So I I get it, I text it to myself. I so that's how she had my number. Um, because I couldn't get it to airdrop. Um, so anyway, she texted me back. She's like, thanks for the selfie. Um but I've done it before at the fair.
SPEAKER_00You do it all the time.
SPEAKER_02Um, and those people found me on Facebook and sent me like this really good long message. I gave them some tickets.
SPEAKER_00Oh.
SPEAKER_02So and it was their anniversary and they met there and blah blah blah.
SPEAKER_00So oh I didn't know if there was a long message of like, don't fucking take pictures.
SPEAKER_02It was it was um thanking me for doing all of that, and then they kind of went over the story. So, anyway, um, but yeah, so I always leave a selfie, but they know I had their phone.
SPEAKER_00I don't even think about doing stuff like that. Like, I don't know what used to's problem is.
SPEAKER_02Um, if I'm taking a picture of like people at an event, all you gotta do is hit the button.
SPEAKER_00I understand that, but I don't like You've done it before. Because of you!
SPEAKER_02Well, I don't know.
SPEAKER_00Um So yeah, uh no phone is safe around Alyssa.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Um at all. No, and it's God that I use my face, but I don't I don't think she knows my code to type in or whatever. She'd be making fucking phone calls.
SPEAKER_02Oh yeah, she would start making prank calls or something and now here we go. We're giving her all this. I hope she doesn't watch this episode. Um but I think only you and I have know the code. So, yeah.
SPEAKER_00I don't know what this one's doing. I don't come on, back up. Thank you.
SPEAKER_02Can you just sit?
SPEAKER_00Sit down. Don't look at me like that.
SPEAKER_02There you go. Make her knee stink.
SPEAKER_00In the bottom of my channel. Keep my feet warm.
SPEAKER_02Um, so another thing that I had brought up, I think it was last episode. We were talking about, you know, the whole Taylor Swift wedding.
SPEAKER_01Right?
SPEAKER_02Well, I saw an article that the mayor of New York confirmed that she definitely paid the $160,000. For the police officer. Police officer, though. As she should. She should have, but there was all that nonsense that she didn't and had no plan to. Now I don't know if that's what caused her to to bank the payment, if it was paid in in like beforehand. I don't know.
SPEAKER_00Well, what do you think about Adam Sandler officiating her her wedding? I don't A lot of people are like, was it even a real wedding? Or have they been married before? Like they were married like previously, and this is just kind of like the See, and the thing is that's a good point. Like I didn't even know he's a Is he? I don't I haven't looked at it.
SPEAKER_02So here's the thing though. It I I'm planning to get my notary. I don't know if it's a certificate or a license or whatever it is, but to become a notary, that's all you need.
SPEAKER_00Right. Well, hello. We have friends that are I almost said Mormons, but that's not right. Um people officiants or whatever.
SPEAKER_02Ordained.
SPEAKER_00Ordained ministers. Yes. They're ordained ministers. I think and they can marry people.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_00And it's literally like a two-hour class or something, and I'm like Yeah.
SPEAKER_02I mean, I'm not gonna need them, so it's and I'm not and I'm not gonna do a wedding, so um But I'm just saying, like, you can do lots of things. It could it could have very well just been something like that that he did, you know. I don't know. Um but I never thought about them being married before though.
SPEAKER_00I think that they would have been legally married for a month or two.
SPEAKER_02But here's the other thing though.
SPEAKER_00In the event that that happened, somebody But I think it was just like a ceremony type thing.
SPEAKER_02But somebody it has to be recorded. Now, it can be redacted after it's recorded because of who they are, and I'm sure I mean obviously money's not an object, so they can pay whatever Taylor Swift. Whatever fee that might be to have it redacted to where it's not searchable, but it still has to be recorded, otherwise it's not legal. Somebody, somebody somewhere would have added that.
SPEAKER_00Okay, but could you even imagine if they were already married and all of this hoopla during that time, if it wasn't like a real ceremony, it's I I think it would piss even more people off.
SPEAKER_02Um I mean, I'll tell you, it happened that happens all the time. Well, all the time, and not even with celebrities, just in general. People will go to the courthouse or whatever and get married, and then they come back, and then that's when they have their actual wedding.
SPEAKER_00Right.
SPEAKER_02Like, so they're already married, they've been married.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Sometimes for years.
SPEAKER_00Right. No, I totally get that, but it's like in this situation where you shut down a major city and a major thoroughfare during a major holiday just for you to put on this show, yeah, you know.
SPEAKER_02She just wanted to make sure she was not on the camera.
SPEAKER_00I guess so.
SPEAKER_02Um Yeah, mm. Well, let's hope that I don't know. But the to have him do it, like I'm wondering He might be an ordained man. He could be. I mean, I think it it would probably be fun.
SPEAKER_00Well, look at Carl on Summerhouse.
SPEAKER_02What about him?
SPEAKER_00He married what's his face? Kyle and Amanda. So, and he said he went online and got his his thing done.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, you can just go right on and get it.
SPEAKER_00By the way, thanks for a month wasted of time.
SPEAKER_02Very good.
SPEAKER_00Is it though? Is it very entertaining? Who's coming back? Um We're talking summer house now. I finally I finished.
SPEAKER_02So, yeah, now she started in the city.
SPEAKER_00I mean, I couldn't keep up with that. I mean, there are people.
SPEAKER_02There's a couple people. Um but so everybody is coming back that I've heard.
SPEAKER_00Except West.
SPEAKER_02Except West, Amanda.
SPEAKER_00Oh, Amanda's not coming back?
SPEAKER_02No. No.
unknownNo.
SPEAKER_00Um Could you imagine if she did?
SPEAKER_02And then what's I I forgot her name, Dara? Is that what was KJ's? Dara. Dara, yeah. She is not coming back. Levi was not wait, one of the new girls. What are the new girls' names?
SPEAKER_00Levi and Bailey.
SPEAKER_02Bailey's coming back. Levi was not asked. But she was also edited out of most of the series. So um yeah, everybody else is coming back. And it's in a new house because that house is for sale.
SPEAKER_00Oh no!
SPEAKER_02Yeah, so it'll be the third house.
SPEAKER_00Um yeah, I uh But yeah, it's fun.
SPEAKER_02I just like to watch other people's drama.
SPEAKER_00No.
SPEAKER_02Mm-hmm. I'd rather watch it than have it.
SPEAKER_00Understood, but I'd like to smack the shit out of some people too and be like, what is wrong with you?
SPEAKER_02Like Oh yeah, but that's that's that's what like me and Carrie do. We're like, holy fuck, did you see this? Like, I'm like, absolutely. So yeah, I mean we we have to collab.
SPEAKER_00So when I fucking tell you about something, you don't do that when I'm like, hey, did you see this? And you're just like, no.
SPEAKER_02Because it's not reality TV.
SPEAKER_00It's real life shit!
SPEAKER_02I don't give a shit about that. Oh my god. This is real life, just not my real life. I don't I think it's some of it's scripted. No, some it's not scripted. Situations are put on.
SPEAKER_00Um, well the whole Carl and Lindsay um like they the breakup thing.
SPEAKER_02They will, yeah. So she out of that. Right, but it's not scripted. Right. The situations, they're like, hey, you know, this is happening in your life. You need to go and put it on camera. Before before y'all talk.
SPEAKER_00So let me ask this. Like, but if they were to be like, no, we want to keep this person on private and then just make a statement afterwards.
SPEAKER_02No, it can't happen.
SPEAKER_00So when you sign the contract, you're like, And it literally says everything. Damn. Yeah. See, I don't know if I would there's there's I would ever want to do any sort of reality TV at all. No, like if there's that much, like there are certain things that like need to stay as a private situation. In my li in my mind.
SPEAKER_02Right. You know, and half of that, no, it doesn't happen. Um now, if there's a minor or something, like Lindsay had the baby. Yeah. So the baby was not her face was never put on Summer House.
SPEAKER_00But it is on In the City, and that's why I was It is on In the City. So that must have been a new contract right in.
SPEAKER_02It was a new contract, but it was also maybe an agreement between the baby's daddy. So, like he wasn't okay with it because I still don't even know what this fucker looks like. Um, I've seen that he's been on the internet a couple times.
SPEAKER_00Oh, and let me just tell you something else. Like, after watching all of this, of course, in my mind, when all of this stuff was, oh well, we posted this, we posted this. Well, when you go back and look, they've taken everything down because I texted you about that. And then I'm like, all right, well, let me see what friends of mine follow these people. It was kind of interesting.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. People that you wouldn't have thought.
SPEAKER_00Right.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. And they're probably like all about it.
SPEAKER_00There's what is it? They're secret, they're closeted summer house fair.
SPEAKER_02They're closeted Bravo people. Um, yeah.
SPEAKER_00Well, I mean, and then I caught back up on McBee Dynasty because I think it was I think I was like two episodes down.
SPEAKER_02Oh, okay.
SPEAKER_00But then I didn't realize that that was Bravo 2.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. Yeah. Bravo.
SPEAKER_00I am not a Bravo bitch. I will not be able to. I'm sorry, I'm not. I'm just you watch it all.
SPEAKER_02No, I don't even watch it all.
SPEAKER_00The only reason I watch certain things is because so many people have talked about it. Like I've had a couple people at work talk about it's the thing that I've noticed with you.
SPEAKER_02So so until pointed out. Well, it it's only happened twice that I'm aware of. You've only watched two shows on B well, three on Bravo. Right? Vanderpump? Summerhouse. Right, but it wasn't until the scandal happened.
SPEAKER_00Oh, yeah.
SPEAKER_02And then she's trying to like, I'm like, oh my god, you gotta watch the next season because it's crazy how it ended. And she's like trying to binge 10 seasons in a couple weeks. So, um, and then it was kind of the same way with Summerhouse. And then the other one that you what oh, just McBee Dynasty. Uh and I told you, I was like, you're probably gonna like it just because of what it's about.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, but I can't get you to watch a fucking show to save your fucking life.
SPEAKER_02So I mean I've tried to watch.
SPEAKER_00I can't even get you to read an article.
SPEAKER_02Uh no, ma'am. The camera just about fell.
SPEAKER_00Why are we wrapping our body around the one leg?
SPEAKER_02Like I just Oh my god. So just um something else that I had sent you the other day. Um was I mean, first of all, I mean, I don't know. Were these people drunk? Like I know the guy was, the one guy? Talking about the video that I sent you.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_02But were they all wasted? I mean, I didn't seem like the other two were. I mean, clearly they were driving.
SPEAKER_00Come on, move.
SPEAKER_02Clearly they were driving.
SPEAKER_00Clearly.
SPEAKER_02Um, so hopefully they weren't like completely annihilated. I just want to know how often does this happen?
SPEAKER_00It's not even a matter of how often does it happen. It's did you think that that was like your friend's vehicle and you just didn't know the difference between the two?
SPEAKER_02I mean, what if he thought it was his? So let me tell you what we're talking about. I was scrolling through something. Um, I don't even know, I don't know where I found it.
SPEAKER_00Instagram probably crusty dusty Instagram reels.
SPEAKER_02Or, yeah. So anyway, so I I saw this and I'm like, okay, is there truck backing into a driveway? And then next thing you know, it it parks, and this guy with the cowboy hat sits up in the back in the in the bed of the truck, and the guys get out, and they were like floored that the guy was there. He was like, You should have you should have told us you were in here.
SPEAKER_00Or knocked on the back window, and he must have been really passed out.
SPEAKER_02But he was like, But you he said he was asleep, and he goes, Oh, well, you should have let us know you were back here. Oh, wait, you were asleep.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Like, yeah. Um, so what have you ever brought home from the bar other than a glass? Somebody.
SPEAKER_00Or that was conscious.
SPEAKER_02Right, right. Well, let's hope you're not anyway.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_02But what has what has showed up at your house in your car after the club that you didn't anticipate to be there? I mean. Jeez Louise. That camera is all jacked up right now.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I can see it. You're gonna have to do that.
SPEAKER_02Uh yeah, we'll figure it out.
SPEAKER_00A lot of things.
SPEAKER_02Who knows?
SPEAKER_00Oh well. Way to go. But I'm glad you're feeling better.
SPEAKER_02She's probably not. That's probably why she's like army crawling all over the freaking floor. She's fine. So anyway, but we'll put the video up so you can take a look at it and let us know in the comments on that. Um, if you've ever had this happen to you or um tell us what you've brought home. I'll tell you I've never brought anything home from the bar. Other than cigarette smoke and a buzz and a hangover.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I don't think I've ever taken anything.
SPEAKER_02No. I mean, well, I don't remember anyway.
SPEAKER_00Or I don't even take home people. I don't even do that. So um Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, cigarette smoke and a buzz. That's about it.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. For sure. Alright, well.
SPEAKER_00Other than that, uh we'll wrap it up and go to next week.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. So, um how many more days till our trip?
SPEAKER_00Twenty-four?
SPEAKER_02So we're getting there.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_02We're getting there. So um when we are away in the middle of August, there might be some on location episode again or something. Who knows?
SPEAKER_00So we shall see.
SPEAKER_02Anyway. Alright, peace out.
SPEAKER_00Have a good week.
SPEAKER_02Later.
